The Mussel Shoals Preservation Foundation’s board of directors meets quarterly in the months of January, April, July, and October on a date to be determined by the foundation’s president. Other meetings may be called at the discretion of the president or at the request of a majority of the directors.

The next meeting of the foundation will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18 at the Owen County Public Library, 1370 Hwy 22 E, Owenton, KY 40359. Guests are welcome, and members of the public who are interested in the work of this foundation are encouraged to attend.

For the convenience of those that want to support the Foundation’s work of restoring and preserving the Mussel Shoals cemeteries, we have added an online donation portal where donors can use their debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or ACH. The donation portal can be accessed from the Donations tab or by the link in the column on the right of this page. Of course, if you prefer you may still mail a check to P. O. Box 233, Owenton,, KY 40359-0233 as you may have in the past. However you may donate and whatever amount, please know that you are appreciated and that you are helping to preserve a vital part of the history of this area of Owen County. As we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, donations to the Foundation may be tax-deductible if you itemize on your returns.
